Moods and Shades of Yellow

I shot these a few months ago with my old Olympus. I still love this little camera.

Kaye, this is such a beautiful series of yellow! My favorites are the first and last for their so Errol compositions.

Beautiful series indeed. Love the yellow. The details of the petals and the stamens are so perfect Kaye. You know sometimes older camera can do better than the new one. I have two P&S camera, same brand but the older one does macro better than the new one.

Very lovely series, Kaye. The yellow is so vivid but not overpowering, that little Olympus serves you well. I'm having a hard time choosing a favorite between #1, #4, and #5.

2 is my favorite I think, but I love them all. We just bought an Hibiscus, but orange ................

Thank you so much Tenny. I just would like to be able to do the same with my new camera, but will have to wait for a macro lens. I will never get rid of my Olympus.

Thank you very much Shirley for viewing these. I feel like sharing some of my hundreds of florals I shot with my Olympus, as they are turning to dust on my PC. I would just like to be able to manage similar shots but with better quality with my D90. I have done lots of practice, but look forward to the macro lens I hope for one day.
