Unfortunately, I can't give you the EXIF data as I'm trying out a new program and, for some weird reason, it eats EXIFs. Strike ONE!

I like it...I really like B/W and this one intrigues me..interesting concept and the noise gives it an old photo feel.

Here's another shot without so much PPing. I'm back to using Gimp as it does eat my EXIFs! I didn't desaturate this one.

Gary -
I like this one better - there doesn't seem to be as much noise.

I really like this one much better as well. It seems so much clearer

I agree the second shot is clearer, but to me, because of the subject, I prefer the first one. The noise, or film grain, gives it more of an atmosphere than the second one. It looks like an older picture. Not sure if I am making sense, but I know what I mean in my head!

Good morning, Gary! You know, I like this one too, but I'm still really partial to the first one. I like the noise in with the B/W cause it reminds me of an old photo. Like you would have seen in a book or magazine from days gone by. The second pic shows more detail but the first one just intrigues me more. I think what I mean is, the second one just strikes me as what you would see in any magazine today but the second one evokes a feeling of days gone by. And I like that...

I like the first one, also. I'm a huge BW fan ... and I think the grain adds to this shot.
If you ever want to try standing things up, use a bit of taky tape or a dab of hot glue. works like a charm!

Does this mean I should start carrying a tube of glue with me? Actually, that's a great idea that I hadn't heard yet.

I really think both of those photos are awesome and have their own unique traits about them. The one looks old fashioned and the other one looks like it is for a modern day ad.Hmm hard to choose between them when you like color and B&W

Well I like Both! :D
On this occasion it would very much depend on what the photo was being used for as to which one you would use. Like others have said, the first has the older feeling but the second is very sharp and has a nice light reflection at the end of the bulb.
Very nice.
Well Done Gary.

I have a rolling duffle that carries all manner of things. It's kind of like the mysterious purse from the movie One Fine Day. floral wire, duct tape, electrical tape ... along with the usual comb, safety pins, lip balm, etc.
It's crazy, but you'd be surprised at how many times you actually need things or can make things happen with a few extras!

I assume this duffle is something you bring along when taking photos?? My camera bag is pretty full right now - but in the Spring, I'll probably add a water bottle to create a misty, fresh dew drop effect when I'm out and about.
PS - I love that movie.
