Nikon D100

Hi All

I've just signed up for the general photography course. I've used film for years but I'm now switching to digital and choosing a DSLR. I've been offered a Nikon D100 with a 28-100mm lens for $395AUD. It sounds like a bargain, but is it? Any comments would be much appreciated.

I am sorry that you have received no replies to your post, but my guess is that no-one here has had hands on experience with this camera.
If you have not already made up your mind, I guess your best option is to google the specifications and compare them to say the Nikon D3000 or D5000.
