After shooting some waterfall shots on slow shutter speed, I went back to the car and it was nearly dark. I couldn't resist the maple tree near the car. Left the settings as they were and shot.
Small amount of edit in PS to bring out the colours.

Hi Marianne, I really really appreciate your Wow here! Thank you so much :) It's funny that some shots that are completely unplanned come out as we do not expect.
It does have a bit of noise due to lighting.

I had to laugh when you asked, "Are you a surgeon" :D I wish I was as I would have enough money for some really nice lenses ;)

I always hold my breath taking a shot.... I just await the right moment. Also, I had lots of practice on thousands of florals with my P&S on super macro which does not have great Vibration Reduction.

Thanks again Marianne.

I like this Kaye. Love the colors and the soft background. Was the tree high? You do have a steady hands:eek:, but I don't think you should set the very low shutter speed when you use a flash?

Tenny, thank you very much for your comment and ideas.
The tree was fairly tall, but the shot I took was not too far away and about shoulder height.
As it was nearly dark and I was "frozen", I did not change my shutter speed, (needed glasses to view all this again)!! I just took the shot as steady as I could and went home.
I just liked the colours that came out in this.
