Sneaking up on the Spoonbills

Visited a local park today and spotted a few spoonbills by the water. Knowing how easy they get spooked i spent about half an hour slowly crawling closer. All was going well until my dear wife decided to walk over and join me :) I did manage to get a few shots though.

During this an Egret flew past and i just had time to spin over and grab a couple of quick shots of it flying over and landing in a nearby tree.

Nicely done Michael. I don't think I have seen one of these in Sydney.
I like No. 2 with the less sun glare on him and nicer eye detail. I think you did pretty well for with the egret for a last minute response.
