Doesn't look - looks like it needs major surgery.

It really made me mad when they wouldn't clean it when it was at the shop for the repairs. I even told them they could call me and I would give them my payment options. I know that it was under warranty for the repairs and the dust doesn't fall under that but they could have cleaned it and then charged me for the service. I would have gladly paid it. I might have yelled about the price but I would have paid...:D

I would have done the same thing!! Probably just a bunch of young kids that really don't care.

Seems like you have a problem there with all those spots. I thought mine was bad with just two or three visible spots. As I said before, I think your best course is to find a specialist camera shop who will do a proper cleaning. Hope you get it sorted.

I'm headed to the city next Wednesday and the camera is going with me to see if I can locate a good camera shop to clean it. My cleaning kit hasn't arrived yet but I'll have it on hand for minor cleanings after the major one. I plan on keeping an eye on it from now on. On one of the tutorial sites I read that some of the dust would be stuck as tight as bugs on a windshield. Now how the heck does that happen? I'm wondering now how much was there at the very beginning. It wasn't taken I'd taken a picture of blue sky that I noticed it.
Thanks for all your help, Eddie...we let you all know the results of my cleaning...
