Night Shots

Well - I went on the full moon nature walk and here are a couple results and looking for comments. These were shot at 30sec with a tripod.

They look good, Debbie...we had a beautiful full moon last night too and it was real low in the sky. When I was driving home around 5:45, it was orange from the sun. I needed to have my camera with me but didn't. Thanks for the look!

Thanks Debbie, I like the first one. There seems to be a lot of cloud in the sky on the pics which has detracted from the crispness of the moon a little. Good on you for getting out though in the cold and taking these.

Andy -

I found out after I took the pictures that my shutter speed was too long, hence the moving clouds. I was going to try again last nite, but it was too cold, so I think I'll wait until February to try again.

I think the moving clouds could add something to a picture but in this instance it interferes with your moon, so like you say, perhaps a shorter shutter speed will give a better image.

I keep meaning to try a moon shot but up to yet we have not had weather suitable, hopfully, it will improve soon.
