You can get a new digital camera from http://linkachi.com/?r1 and all you have to do is enter in your zip code to see if they mail it to your area. My uncle got his camera from that site and it arrived at his house a few weeks later. You can choose between three different cameras and they are all free of charge.

I have a Kodak digital camera, can someone suggest a gloss printing printer for this item?

Your Kodak camera may have a matching printer dock, you can probably find out at the Kodak website. I use the Epson Picturemate, about $150. Uses glossy or matte paper, prints are archival and good quality. The ink and paper is sold in packs of 100 sheets for about $29.99. However, the ink lasts longer than the paper, so buy an extra pack of paper and continue to print until the ink runs out, at least another 20 to 30 sheets, usually. It does only print 4x6, so you'd need a different printer if you wanted enlargements. You can also upload to an online service such as Snapfish, Shutterfly, or MPix, or print at the local drugstore kiosk.

I think it really depends on what size prints you want to make as to which type of printer you should be looking at. If you just want to make 4 x 6 prints then there are a variety in the $79-$150 range.

All three of the big printer manufacturers make really nice photo printers. I'm partial to Canon, but I've had Epson photo printers in the past that gave excellent results.

The thing to do is to figure out how much you want to spend and then look at all the printers in that price range and see which has the features you want.

I have a Canon Pixma Pro9000 and I LOVE IT. ...it prints the best photos. Ink is a little expensive, if you print a lot, but I love it anyway!

Question regarding the same...I used to have a 5MP Powershot and a HP Printer. The quality was good but now that I have a 12MP G9, the quality is very poor. Is this because the printer is not good enough for the camera? Do you know?

Thanks,
Raf.
