Hi Craig
Great night scenes, Are they of Brisbane? and if so it appears that Brisbane has recovered from the terrible floods you have had. One comment I try and take night scenes if possible at dusk, it then shows up the outline of the buildings. I hope I am not stating the obvious
Regards
Delboy.

You will get high marks for this night shot. I love how you captured an image with natural selective color. Wonderfully done Craig.

Thank you Delboy, yes they are of Brisbane and it has recovered quite quickly and fast around the city area. I totally agree about shooting at dusk and being able to capture the outline of buildings better at that time of night, had the same at the very early stages of dawn :)
I suffer from bad anxiety attacks going out but at night it isn't as bad when I know not many people around.

Thank you Joseph, I'll keep this one as a reserve then for handing in. :)
Really appreciate the feedback Delboy and Joseph.

I am no where near doing night shot but I live in the country and most if not all night shots ive seen are done in a city wonder if I will have to travel to the big smoke when I am at this stage of lessons I love this photo btw

I often do parks at night as well, even houses at night can make great night shots. At dusk or a nice moonlit night can get some spectacular night shots in the country.
Thank you.

Very well done on this shot Craig, and i love the variety of reflections and detail that you captured in this scene. The biggest thing that jumps out at me here is the powerful color contrast with the purple lighting of the building. At first the scene's colors seem pretty normal, and then you've got that building that just kind of jumps out of the mid-ground of the scene and really just captures the viewer's attention.
You nailed the composition here by keeping it in the upper left corner of the frame according to the rule of thirds, and the rest of the image had enough geometric shapes and leading lines that it keeps the viewer interested and engaged. Good work at filling the frame with enough of the subject that you didn't let things get lost or have too much black sky in the background which can sometimes make an image feel unbalanced or empty.
Really, not a lot of critique here. Good work!
