Nice shots Nikkie. I am not sure what birds these are...looks as if they may be a native bird.
No. 1 for me seems to have a "green/blue hue" to it, but I like your composition here. I am not sure if you altered colours in this shot, but some cameras do have a certain hue. My camera seems to have a red hue.
My favourite is No. 2. Very pretty with the warm colours.

The first one looks blue/green to me too, but I also like your composition. Birds are often hard to get as they fly off before your ****ter is ready!! The second one is very nce and I like the long tail of the bird. You have captured his markings well.
