The orchid man at the Farmer's Market here does incredible arrangements. These looked pretty against the brightly colored ones behind it!

Kaye, what do you think of the crop? There isn't too much room to crop without chopping off the top of the blooms.

Hi Marianne,
What a striking spotted orchid. I don't think I have seen one quite as 'dotty' a this one. I really like it.
I think it has nice composition and clarity.

Presuming you cannot shoot this shot again, I personally would like to see a little less of the white at the top... so in order to keep your nice composition, I would try cropping out some of the white from the top and then approx the equivalent amount from the right side. Just my thoughts.

Hi Marianne I love you orchid shot and think your crop adds to the image. I also found the bright white background a bit distracting. Very nice.

Yes Marianne, I must agree also. I really like the crop... it just cuts out a bit of that brightness. Very nice.
