Just got my LAsik done....

I had RK done 11 years ago (Lasik was just coming into its own) and it was like a miracle for me. My eyes were so bad that I was wearing contacts AND glasses. After an exam by my doctor he said one more lens change and I would be legally blind. That all changed in 15 minutes. Been 20/20 ever since.

Lasik IS one of the very best things you could have done for yourself.
