Andy, a while back you posted a picture of one of your vultures. I finally found a picture of some Yank buzzards. Real charmers, ain't they? :D

Don't tell me these are sitting on your roof? And if so, what do you have dead and decaying in your yard??

Until you get a dead something in your backyard or the field in back of your house that the city refuses to get rid of. heheh A friend of mine had a rather large possum die in his backyard last August. He called the city to remove it and dispose of it and - surprise, surprise - got shuffled around to different departments and finally was told they didn't have a department for that. He was about to do the deed himself when he looked out his window and saw 4-5 of these birds doing the job for him. He decided to let them take care of it. Indeed, they did, leaving a very clean skeleton which some night animals took care of. He was amazed. Gotta love it.

Yeah, pretty homely but, HIGHLY efficient. :)

Great Pic Gary. I actually think these birds look great, their feathers are stunning and if you look at their face it looks a little sad, perhaps goes with their teritory if they are always dealing with dead things.
