I love the effect. This is not something you would expect of I assume a biker and significant other. This is one to treasure.

Thank you. Actually this is of me and my husband. Every year we do a big trip on our bikes and last year we did a shorter trip of about 3500 miles.

It's still a very nice picture. This is a wall-hanging!!!
I guess then, that's where you're name would come from?

yes! You are so right. I usually picture 2 skinny lovely people in a mushy scene on the beach and how often do you see anything other than that? But to us this was quite beautiful and it is hanging on our living room wall.

Good for you! Gives me inspiration to get one of my husband and I on the wall.

this is a good shot, some very nice warm tones and a great quality of light. Nice do-rag that biker is wearing too! :)

Wow, I missed this thread... awesome shot using all natural light!
As for the biker stereotype, I think its a little over-rated. I've had the pleasure of hanging out with a few groups over the years, and they are just basically nice people who just happen to ride bikes for a hobby.
Now mixing bikes and photography, thats a great combination!

Now thats just cruel... no man should be abused in that manner! :p :D:p:)

I'm blessed he loves me so much! hee hee
I agree with you about the stereo typing thing. I've been riding bikes since I was 10 and of course have been hanging out with many clubbers for most of my life. Its funny that a lot of people think bikers dont even have "real" jobs. I know a Hells Angel who is a college professor.

I rode with 2 HA members which was really funny since first I was not a member, and second I drove a Honda and of course they ride only their Harleys. Big, mean burly guys that really have that "look" (especially after 2-3 weeks of not shaving). One was a lawyer, the other a psychiatrist. No, they are NOT always what people would think they are!

I know several "bikers" who are all professionals, and they are the nicest men you would ever meet. They would give you the shirt off of their back! I also hate when people think because someone has a tattoo they are bad people or automatically assume that they are a drug addict! When I was in the medical field I saw it all of the time...people getting treated wrong because they had tattoos!

Bikers are some of the most generous, caring people and they could teach a lesson.
As for the tattoo, I hope too many people don't assume I'm bad or a druggie - course, my "angel" protects me.

It was really sad when I worked at a certain medical facility! I would actually hear some of the nurses say "Oh great here comes another addict...You take the hep C patient" It would make me soooooooooo mad!

I just don't get people, especially those in the medical field that take such a stance.
