Thanks Photog for you nice comment. I am not familiar with elements 6, but my CS2 is also now becoming outdated. I am glad you can't see where the pics are joined, but I can see it!

Finally got around to posting some flower pics in a new album - would appreciate any creative criticism ........

Really like some of your flower posts, I seem to gravitate to flowers a lot, that and insects. I suppose I must be some sort of 'loner; at heart. My wife thinks so too, LOL!

But yeah, I'm nearing the big 50 soon. I learned mostly from my father
who was a professional photographer for nearly 60 years!
So I got a lot of nice hand me down equipment over the years.
Finally sold most of it for my Nikon D300 and lenses, this stuff can get REALLY expensive!

PAT, READ MESSAGE BELOW FIRST...I love both these actions; (I am no expert on actions, but would love to know how to get these ACTIONS into my Photoshop CS2. I thought it was simple; have done one before, but have encountered problems this time.

I really love the Pic in a Pic one, but would also like to download the one on the Orton affect. Perhaps you may know how I can get these to my PS CS2.

Pat, I hope I am not asking too much of you, so please take your time in replying if you are busy. I just need all the help I can get sometimes.

Hi Pat, I agree sometimes it is difficult to keep up with posts on Proud, but I still thank you for sending it to me.

Although I don't have a great camera, I've noticed with floral photography that red is the worst/hardest to shoot,as is purple and violet colours. Yellow can also be difficult. (Basically any BRIGHT colour).

I try to get around this by altering angles of shot to allow/avoid light where I feel necessary. I use my body as shade when required! This puts me in strange positions, but in general, I really try to avoid red/purple ones unless light is perfect. Late afternoon is better. (I have often asked others to act as shade for me!)

PS.. Pat, you may be able to help me some more.
Steve(Hype) has been trying to help me with an action that he posted to Proud.
