Glenafton, I rather like your arty versions, but really love your originals... particularly the second. Nice long exposure on the waterfall, and I think that debris just makes this look perfectly...
Eddie, maybe morning shot may work better??
Thanks so much, Tenny for your kind comment.
Marianne, this is a cool shot with nice detail. Are these really ALL carrots? Here I have only seen the normal orange carrots and black carrots.
Marianne, this is really beautiful. Such a wonderful weathered birdhouse. Love your detail and DOF.
It's almost like they have balconies with hanging plants
Hi Eddie,
This is a pretty landscape scene with lovely clouds. I love clouds like this as they help give the image some depth.
I have been thinking about your statement that something's missing. ...
These are very pretty, Marianne. Nice timing in #2 with the butterfly. It almost looks as if it is part of the petal!
Thank you for your kind words and feedback, Tenny. It was a very hot and bright day... I took these shots in my sisters garden / vegie patch and ended up getting quite sunburned!
PS I had...
Wonderful captures of these amazing costumes and headgear, Tenny.
I would love the opportunity to photograph some of the costumes you have there.
I particularly like the first shot... and your...
A gorgeous macro, Eddie. Love the light, beautiful colors and composition.
Tulips have been popular on here recently. I guess it is the season there... but not here. The ones I bought must have...
Glenafton, I am so pleased that it was a 'little' heart attack and so nice to know you have completely recovered. (I think we need someone to carry all our gear)!
Look after yourself :)
Taken at my sister's house in the country Feb 2013... it was so hot and bright. Pity we don't get many interesting butterflies here.

Diana, you should be able to view your EXIF data (the settings when you took your image) when you double click on your image. I am not sure how you view your images on your computer. Or, try right...
Delboy, you missed mine above :):)
These are very beautiful and artistic, Marianne. I love your DOF.
Did you take these in the garden, or did you pick them and use a special background?
I really love #2, and interesting selective...
Another lovely series, Marianne, again with nice composition.
Isn't it wonderful to go through some older shots.
Marianne, these are very beautiful... and you hadn't even done the course!! :) You have wonderful composition in them all.
I have never been to Italy, but would love to. First 3 are my favs.
Diana, a very beautiful set of portraits. You have got nice exposure on your subjects considering the bright background light.
I find #2 an exceptional image. I love the pose and colors and you have...
A pretty neat capture for pointing and hoping for the best, Glenafton. Nice colors and DOF.
Would love to see what you could do if you had had tripod set up and ready for this dragonfly!! :):)
...
Lovely to hear from you again, Glenafton.
Your image is gorgeous with the long exposure, and the fluffy clouds that really look like heaven :)
Many thanks, Marianne... aren't we glad we don't work for a food magazine. We would be permanently hungry!!
You have a great eye, John, I love this - nice detail and dof.
PS and better than squabbling with the other photographers!
Thanks very much, John.... I have been thinking of this lately also. When I get around to a couple, I will post them.
Good on you for asking, John. A fantastic place to get some portraits.
I love both of them. Love how you did the framing effect in the first... a touch better eye focus could have improved this I...
