What do you think of this one as abstract?

Hey everybody, what do you think of this one as abstract? I know most of you probably know exactly what it is at first glance, but in this b&w version, it really seems to bring out the forms and texture (even though i softened it quite a bit).

I dont think its really abstract cause you can really tell what it is, what other abstracts have you taken???

Honestly, Steph I haven't really tried abstract until now as I don't really understand it yet. I'm trying to get a grip on it for my final assignment. What if i take the original and apply Joseph's neon lights trick? Like this
