    Wink Newbie - Lost

I just started the program yesterday, and just finished Lesson 2 Homework Assignment. Trying to figure out my way around the site is actually harder for me than the Lessons lol....So many blogs, forums, and this and thats, Im not sure where to go, what to post where, and so forth. As a mom of 3, including a toddler and a baby, Im used to being confused easily, but hopefully can find some guidance on here. For the site anyway, the kids, Im on my own lol........thanks in advance.

Welcome to the course and the group. I would look at the FAQ located here:
    http://www.proudphotography.com/forum/faq.php?faq=vb3_board_faq#faq_vb3_board_usage

It's a good place to start.

I have used vBulletin forum for several years now (as administrator) so feel like I know the outs and ins of this forum. However, there STILL are differences in how this one is set up. I guess what I am saying is: "Join the club"

    Hi thielen,
Welcome to the course and the forums. When I first joined, it did take a while to learn my way around.
Perhaps Joseph's (Coffee) link to FAQ's above may help you.

What I found difficult was to get back to where I originally started.
As simple as it may sound, I found that getting back to the "Home" Page always helped. You can simply do this by clicking on the "Proud Photography Forum" logo in the blue strip at the top left of each page.
On the Home Page, you will see major headings and sub-headings. Eg. Photo Critique Corner, then sub-headings under such as "Landscapes". Just pick a subheading and post away.
Look forward to some of your shots.

Please feel free to ask more questions as you explore.

    Re: Newbie - Lost

    Hi thielen,
I have been a member for all of three weeks and I have found the best way to find your way around is by trial and error. By this method I have found a lot of information and when I get lost I do what Kaye has suggested and press the "Proud Photography Forum" button. I am really enjoying this course and the community and hope you get as much pleasure out of it as I do.
