    Different days.. Different Daisies

Some recent Daisy shots I have captured... different days with different light, and different editing.

Wow Kaye, these are so beautiful. My absolute favorite is the first, followed by the second and the last. The colors and composition of the first are really wonderful, and the droplets add so much. The second one, a classic beauty, is a framer, for sure. The last one is amazing. Is it handheld or tripod? Love all 5, especially the three mentioned.

Marianne, I really appreciate your thoughts and comments on these shots. Thank you so much. The first and second shots were a play with bright afternoon sunlight. I just love this, and alter my shutter speed to get different results. The first, I shot from behind the daisy (obviously) with very bright sunlight streaming through a window. Used flash for this one to get some light on the back of the daisy.
The second, the daisy was in full bright afternoon sun, and my settings were F5.6, 1/3200 sec. I took several shots, and this one I chose, I cropped as it had the sharpest stamen. It was still too bright before edit, so I could have upped my shutter to say 1/4000.... or chosen a smaller aperture. It was so hard to see the screen to view what I had taken.
The last shot was handheld. I think I am getting steadier in my old age, but shutter speed was fast at 1/2000 I took this a couple of months ago whilst walking the streets, and rarely carry a tripod for macro as too many awkward positions.

Great to hear from you Joseph, and thanks for your kind comment. I know you are busy, but can't wait to see some of your really crazy good shots again.

Thank you so much, Sandra. I do like other types of photography, but I am still drawn back to floral. I just love it, and always love trying different angles.

    Re: Different days.. Different Daisies

Thanks for viewing these, Shirley, and I am glad you like the first one. I do love to try different things with my floral.
I must say, I did not do a lot of processing on this... mostly tones, brightness and saturation.
