    Very beautiful, Doug. They are such a lovely color and I like your shallow DOF.
    In the second shot, I would be tempted to try cropping out the foreground which for me is a bit of a distraction. This would leave you with a square image (which I quite like sometimes) with your main crocus in the left bottom third.

    Nice shots Doug, prefer the 1st as all the bloom is in focus.

    Love the first one, the lighting on the flower is wonderful and really captures it's beauty!

    Ahhh, crocus. That's what those little flowers are. I have them all over in front of the garage and house. Never knew what they were. They are out this far North as well already... is this really only March?

    I like these shots. I like the first one the best because of the lighting and very slightly deeper DOF than the 2nd one.

    Doug I like them both, too. I prefer the composition of the second, but on my monitor, it seems just a bit dark. Nice work.
