Few first images from new camera.

I'm finding that there is going to be a lot of work coming to terms with all the different focusing set up scenarios that the m3 has. Keeper rate is quite lower right now on anything that is fast moving. I'm also noticing a big difference in similar settings from one camera to the other. It doesn't make sense, but it seems like ISO 400 on my 40d is more sensitive that 400 on the m3. Anyone else notice this?

Anyway, here are a few quick shots from the last few days. Leaving for Red Wing MN for probably the last time this year to see if I can get some good shots of eagles. Talk later.

It doesn't seem like your issues are too serious.... these are all brilliant. I particularly love the turtle shot with his reflection below.
It is great when one gets used to a camera, and I am sure it will not take you long.

Hi Kaye and thanks for the remarks. I'm glad you like these. They are just a fast few images. Unfortunately the trip to shoot eagles, hehe, didn't go well. None around. Looks like I will have to wait till next year now. That's ok, I will be ready for them by then. . Wanted to post for you a quick pic of the girls. Growing fast. Shelby is crawling now, fast than I can walk.

Pity there were no eagles, Joseph... but I am sure you will find plenty of interesting things to shoot with the new camera. It's amazing when we have something new, we seem to manage to find the time to go out shooting!

Thanks for posting this really sweet picture of your two babies.... they will not be babies for long. They really are two little models you know Shelby with her beautiful big blue eyes, posing for you, and Samantha with that cute look out of the corner of her eye.
I bet Shelby is into everything now that she is crawling.
