Abstract

this is just a snap but wanted to see what your thoughts on this is would you consider this Abstract. Ive been looking around to see what is and what is not considered Abstract this is "Canna Leaf Rollers
Cannas are largely free of pests, but the plants some- times fall victim to canna leaf rollers, or brazilian skippers (Calpodes ethlius). it is the larva that is known for chewing straight rows of holes on canna leaves"

Nikkie, I am just wondering if you have this posted in two different forums? I thought I saw it somewhere else with some replies.... but I may be wrong.
I think I told you about the new section in the abstract course in the other thread. I will have a look.

Anyway, I think it is certainly a shot that can be classed as abstract... I think your detail is wonderful, and I like your composition with the grain of the leaf running diagonally. You could also have taken it with the center stem of the leaf running diagonally just to compare. I love what the bug has done.... it is like he had a level and moved in a straight line when he ate

I did Kaye have it in another post on this forum and was told to move it to abstract I could not find that forum and this was all I could find Ill have anohter look and see if I can find it again now thanks Kaye
