It can get frustrating at times when no one replies to your thread. This is just one of those things, and it has happened to me lots of times.
Please don't give up, you will find there are a lot of very good photographers on this site who will be only too pleased to give good advice on taking photos. I have learnt a hell of a lot by suggestions of other members. #3 is nice and sharp. What was the charity event, and was this a group, or an individual player. have you a photo of the player?
And can we have your name please.

    Regards

    Delboy.

Robinson Crusoe was the only person to get everything done by Friday.

Duct tape is like the force. There is a dark side and a light side, and it holds the universe together.

Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, as they will always be amused.

hey star55, sorry you had to wait so long. like delboy said, it happens sometimes. these types of photos in low-light situations are very hard to take with any clarity unless you have a fairly good camera. i don't know what you're shooting with, but the quality looks to be pretty good. i can tell you had to turn your iso up, but it works really well with the black and white shot. i do like #3 as well, but i'd like to see it converted to black and white too. overall, nice job
