    Question for Jerry

Jerry I have a question for you. For really, super fast action such as Nascar or something along that line, what would you say would be the best lens? I know we have gone over this before..but I want to ask again.
    Canon 50D - yes I love it.

    Re: Question for Jerry

Any lens that basically does 2 things... let's you get relatively close so you can catch idividual cars and a fast enough lens that lets you get to between 1/250th to 1/500th shutter speeds.

The first is zoom, the second a fast aperture. Zoom amount depends on how close you are sitting (70-200mm perhaps?) and, a fast lens is something like F/2.8.

    Re: Question for Jerry

I hope to get the chance too. I have a friend who is a pro and takes pics of race cars for their owners. I am hoping to get the chance to spend a practice session day with him at a`local track.
