If you do not mind my asking.

    Thanks in advance.

Re: How much did you pay for your camera?

The camera was not the bad part... its the thousands that I invested (and stil have to invest), in other things that I want that I don't want to think about... lol.

I'm probably well over $6000.00 at this point.

Re: How much did you pay for your camera?

Yeah, it is not so much the camera cost, but the other little things that go with it. Also, it depends what you want to get out of photography, for example, if you are just doing this for a hobby, or if you want to eventually become a professional. My camera was $ 1,599.00 (I saved 300.00 because I bought my lens at the time of purchase) It is $1,300 for the body only. Do not feel that you have to start out with an expensive camera. It all depends on what you want to do with it.
    Canon 50D - yes I love it.

Re: How much did you pay for your camera?

I think I managed to get a good deal, I got in November last year:
Canon 400D + kit lens, with free 1 GB card and a free spare Canon battery, £402.00 which also came with a £20 amazon voucher which I used towards a camera case. I then got £50 cash back from Canon!

Smile Re: How much did you pay for your camera?

I personally have spent around 3,500.00 AUD and I still want to buy more lenses and upgrade to a new camera! eep. I think I'm having chest pains thinking of how much I have spent and how much I will be spending in the future.

Re: How much did you pay for your camera?

Mine was about 1000 I got a Canon digital rebel xti and it came with the kit lens, macro lens, tripod, table tripod, 1gb and 4gb memory card, 2 chargers and a few other smaller things. I think it was a pretty good deal and it works good enough for me.
