Canon XSI

hello,

does anyone own a XSI by any chance? If so, what are your thoughts about the camera? I'm waiting for the body only to be available for purchase. anyway, if anyone has one .. let me know how you like it.

I've talked to a few people on other forums who are all about Canons and they are not all that impressed with it. Sure, it has a few new features and all, but nothing that really inspires them to want to purchase it. Most will either wait until it comes out and benefit from lower prices on the XTi or move up to something like a 40D for those that are a bit more serious about their photography.

I looked at the specs myself, and for the $ amount it's going for, I also would tend to pass on it.
