Help!

I started my course yesterday. Did most of Lesson 1 but not quite finished. I did some at home last night and continued on my work computer. All good. However, now that I'm back home again I can't pick up where I left off!! It takes me back to the beginning and says "Attempt 2".

A hint please on how to make sure it not only saves what I've done but how do I get back into it without losing it all again????

Hello tmk, welcome to the forums. You haven't done anything wrong or lost anything. The automatic bookmark from the course takes you wherever you looked last. So if you completed lesson 1 and just before you signed off you briefly looked on the introduction page of lesson 1, it will get you there next time because that was your last viewed page. The auto bookmark is a great tool, but it's also worth knowing how it works or how to use it. Just keep in mind whatever your last viewed page in the course is - you'll be taken there next time.

If you completed the lesson, it all stays in your records and nothing is lost, just click on the following lesson. You don't have to use the bookmark. However in your case if you were in the middle of the lesson, you must go through the beginning and work your way up to the middle and beyond.

THanks for that. So does it not matter if it tells you its your "3rd attempt" even if it was really only the one attempt but merely that you logged out and later logged back in to "continue" having had to start all over again? I eventually completed and submitted my first assignment. I still couldnt just carry on from say part 1.4 but each time I stopped and restarted had to go back through all the steps from the very beginning, answering each question that I had already answered 2 or 3 times previously. I just found that part very frustrating, although I'm enjoying the course itself.

Ok, seems you're not using the auto-bookmark feature on top. See the little flower on top of the course? This should be the first thing you click on when you log in. It will take you to your section 1.4 (example) if that's what you looked at last time.
