    photos in crappy weather??

I'm going crazy!! I want to go out and take so many pictures and practice what I'm learning...but its POURING rain outside. Where and what do more experienced people photograph while stuck inside?

    Hiya,

I also get frustrated in poor weather but an idea is to get a friend to hold an umbrella for you. Go in to your local town/city and take photo's of people dashing about in the rain.

I have never done this but I do keep meaning to.

When you get back be sure to post some pictures for us all to see.

    Just a thought

Also, why not stay inside on days like that and do some still life photography. It can be very rewarding and challenging.

Joseph - I've been taking pics inside and having 'some' fun with it, but maybe you're right...maybe I can find a way to take my assignment #4 (DoF and panning) shots from inside if I get creative enough.
Steve - this looks like it could be lots of fun. Do you have one of these?

    Hi,

Yes I do own one. Its cheap but good fun. Not used mine as much as I hoped I would, which is a shame.

What are you talking about...it's 75* and perfect outside

    Sorry, couldn't help myself

I think I'll go out and surf a bit before the kiddies get out of school...

    Re: photos in crappy weather??

Steve, I bet Mike never has to change the settings on his camera because the weather
and light are so good, unlike us, our little fingers are changing the settings all the time, rather like our weather.
We are world leaders in crappy weather in the UK.
