    Which Wide Angle?

Hi all, I'm back again for your valued opinions on a wide angle lens for my Canon T1i. I'm trying to build my lens collection as I have the money and I'm thinking a wide angle is next.

So, I think I've narrowed it down to:
    Canon 10-22 mm F3.5/4.5
    Tamron 10-24 mm F3.5/4.5
    Sigma 12-24 mm F4.5/5.6
Assuming money is no object (which of course it always is), which of the 3 would you go with? are there contenders I've overlooked?
Thank you very much for your wisdom.
    Hannah

Sigma also makes a 10-20mm F/3.5 fixed aperture which is very nice.

    Re: Which Wide Angle?

Hi Hannah, 3 of the 4 photos I recently posted in "Landscapes” was using the Tamron 10-24 mm (photos 1,2,4).
I find It struggles at times to focus. Don’t know about your cannon lens, but the Sigma 10-20 mm that Jerry
mentions would be worth having a look at especially having the fixed aperture.
I have Sigma lenses and have had no problems with any of them.

I don't know enough about the non canon branded ones (I am very bias towards Canon!), but I have heard a lot of good things about the canon 10-22.

I would also look at the Tokina 11-16 f/2.8 if you can find one. Sold out everywhere but you can usually find them on Ebay for a little over retail price. I keep going back and forth between this and the Canon 16-35 f/2.8L II. Still can't make up my mind but the Canon is $1000 more and not as wide.
