Some shots I took last month on the beach. Wasn't sure where to post these, so I put them here under 'Misc'.

Denise,
Beautiful work!! I love the compositions in all, and the water in no. 1 is amazing.
You can imagine the sound. Great close up in no. 2. And the colors in 3 + 4 are stunning.

Hi Denise how are you…I love all of these photos that you have created, you have taken a simple object and turned it into something very special…that’s an art you know…
to take something simple and turn it into something as beautiful as this. Its not as easy as many people would think and yet when I look at many of your photos its right there every time…
you make an understated statement and I wish that was a gift I possessed.
Your blue and white series was the same and I still see my self… sitting sketching on that chair…Oh and I think I borrowed that title from you for my latest B/W…sorry…
I won’t even begin to try and pick a favourite I would happily put them all up on my wall in my home office where I could just sit and look at them all night long.
Keep doing what it is you are doing Denise, you are gifted and I don’t think you fully realise this yet, I think your talent wants to come out and play…so let it.
Such beautiful photos Denise

Denise, I just love these.
No. 3 is my favourite.
Did you use motion blur in No. 1 ?
They remind me a little of a couple of my shell shots in my blog Beach n Sand.

They are brilliant shots, I especially like the first and third.
These are beautiful, Denise. I like the water movement in the first one and I love the colors and composition of #'s 3 and 4. I especially like the DOF in #3 and I would say that one is my favorite. Very well done.

Thank you Mark for such wonderful comments. Coming from you it means so much. I am really grateful for the time and effort that you give to me. I am honoured to think that you would even suggest putting them up on your wall. Thank you again, I really do appreciate it.
Hi Kaye,
I must admit, I remember you posted some fantastic shell shots a few months back and i thought it was such a cool idea. While away last month, sitting on the beach, I was trying to think of some ideas for some shots and yours sprung to mind. Hope you don't mind but I loved the idea. I didn't use motion blur in No 1, I placed the shell on the beach, a shutter speed of 1/50 sec and waited for the wave to come crashing over. Some shots were a totally blur, others caught the movement just right.
Thanks Jen, I really appreciate your comments.
Thank you so much Eddie. Im glad you like them. For #3, I intentionally wanted to blur the background, so set a small dof and opened up the aperture.
