Just practicing black and white. We were to close to backdrop I used and now there is a shadow behind their hands. I need to try again.

Simply beautiful! I love the lighting.
You shouldn't have to re-shoot it. With a simple post-edit you can remove the shadow.
I am not sure how to edit it to get rid of shadows or just make background black???
This is a lovely shot Leanne. Do you have Photoshop? If not, I can do a quick edit of this shot for you and post it here.

Hi Leanne,
Click on the link below for a quick tutorial (Video) for one method of editing the background into a solid color.

If it errors, then it has not finished processing. Revisit in a minute or two...
Hi Leanne, I love the idea but would reconsider a re-shoot, I personally think a white background would be more pure in its appearance and in its intent to convey innocence.
This would also give you more bounced light from the white background and just lift the photo to another level, more of a hi-key shot.

That is very cool, thankyou. I tried using the magic wand and it kept getting to close to the hands.
Thankyou very much i will play around with this.![]()
