    Hi Heath,

I am not familiar with that one, but I am familiar with Paintshop Pro which is very close to what Photoshop does for around $100 at Wally World (Wal-Mart)

Hi Heath I have Photo Plus x4 and other software from the same company.
I haven’t found anything that I can do on PhotoShop that I cant do on this at a fraction of the cost…may be done in a slightly different way but the end results are the same. My v12 Aston photos were post processed using x4
I find it a good program

Like John I have PaintShop Photo pro x3 as well and again this will do much of what PhotoShop can do and again at a much-reduced price.
It just depends on how in depth you want to go with the software past the basics.

    Hi Heath

I also have Serif x4 and find it works well for me it is very similar to Photoshop but only ever had the trial version and could not see any reason for myself why I should upgrade to it. I alo have Elements 7 which is also very similar.
I like serif x4 and very happy with it.

Thanks for all the comments. Now trying to teach myself how to use it will be the challenge. I'm use to simple editing programs like photoscape so this is Greek to me.

I would invest the time and try the new Elements 9 test download - I currently use Elements 7 and there is a fabulous on-line community with dozens of tutorials and tips/tricks. similar as this site
I realise it is all what you are used to - I migrated from PaintShop Pro which I loved but Elements is hard to beat at $120 or so.
