A shot of many textures Bambe. I love this is B&W.
I like this one, good conversion. Straighten it and you got it!
"Crooked photos look funny." ~ Geneo
"A good photograph is knowing where to stand." ~ Ansel Adams
"You don't take a photograph- you make it." ~ Ansel Adams
It's ok to edit my pictures, but the copywrite remains mine.
Geneo- which way would you straighten it? The barrel was tilted because of the ground, the trees were on an angle and the old barn is tilted another way because of the angle I shot and because it's, well, old.
I tried a few and they all were wonky so went with the original.
If this was my shot and Geneo suggested straightening it, I would go with the level of the roof.
But without trying it, I have no idea what the result would look like
You have probably already tried this crop aspect anyway.
I also do not like horizons that are not straight, but I must admit, with this shot, in my opinion with no horizon, it leaves it a little open to the author of the shot.
** One of my very first shots I ever posted to a site on the internet some time ago received a comment that my horizon was not straight, and I have never forgotten this comment.
I would not chabge a thing. It is wonderful!
thanks Kaye and Marianne
Lovely Bambe, you should know that Geneo has this thing about straight images
That said, the image is great and the textures are captured beautifully.
Thanks for sharing.
