    Ranunculus from my garden

Just fooling around with my trusty Nikon Coolpix S52. Both photos are cropped and camera was in close up mode.

Nice shots Marianne, I like the colours. I think with the P&S you can get them as close as you want, so you don't need to crop them.

Great colors and detail in these floral shots, Marianne. Very nice.

Hi Marianne, nice photos here, I am very taken with the yellow shot, like the perspective on this one a lot. Amazing how an hour in the garden can lead to such lovely images isn't it?

Beautiful flowers. Good lenses on some of these little cameras. Nice job in macro. I like my little Lumix ZS7 too. Hardly use my DSLR anymore

    Re: Ranunculus from my garden

Hi Marianne, again these are lovely.
After reading Scalewag's comment, I must agree that I still love my P&S for macro. (I think I mentioned this to you in another post).

BUT, please remind me of your camera and the lenses you have.
I am trying some floral with my D90 with 18-105mm VR lens, and it does not seem too bad. Still practicing.
