I am a beginner, and part way through the main course. I bought an old canon film camera cheap for the lenses and accessories (and one day I might use the camera too). It had a cable remote with it and luckily this works with my 500D. I can't believe how many times I have used it already and I love it!
When I have some spare cash I would like to try the cableless variety. Ciara
