Thanks all, the flower rear held some magical colour and shapes, so hey give it a shot was my thought and it sure paid off.
Thanks again
Andy
Hi again Andy,
It is only after looking again that I actually realised what flower this was. An Anemone.
I presume it is the same flower in both pics above. I was wondering why there is a green hue to the first one particularly?
I do not know of the Wood Anemone. I have several shots of the Pink and White Anemone, and have just posted some (also with a "rear" view) to my site "Flower Magic" below in my signature if you wish to check them out.

They look wonderful Kaye, great detail and colour.
I have looked at mine again and to be honest they are soft and lacking in detail; I need to re-shoot these and take my flash with me as they invariably seem to be in shade near the river.
Andy
Thanks Andy. Do you ever used built in flash on flowers? Eddie told me how to alter the exposure compensation on the flash, and thought that this might work quite well, but have not tried it yet.

Can't use the built in flash with the 105 as it shades out on the lens; I bought myself a Sigma twin ring flash but didn't take it with me (DOH) or too lazy to carry the extra weight, I aim to re-shoot as I think I have a few clues with what went wrong (possible VR on mounted on tripod and or a breeze?
