    Bambe and Delboy, thanks for looking and your kind comments, the sun was beating down and across the wings, it was a hinderence as the hover was on white flowers, but it allowed me to stop down to get detail.

    Jon, yes it is the Nikkor 105mm F2.8, a truly marvellous lens, thanks for asking.
