Duct tape is like the force. There is a dark side and a light side, and it holds the universe together.
Blessed are those who can laugh at themselves, as they will always be amused.
Mark, Your images never cease to amaze me! This inspires me to try more artistic shots. Thanks so much!!

Hi Delboy and thank you for your comments.
No this shot was taken outside at a local river and the dandelion is floating on water, you will notice that just more than half the dandelion is showing above the water line, the shot was taken in a dark area and is being back lit with a very small portion of sun light.
Thanks Delboy

Mark,
This is so eyecatching with the contrast, then the change in focus above and below the water is so unique.
I love the simplicity along with the sense of motion. Very cool.

Fantastic shot - great capture. One question. I was trying to read you name in the bottom right hand corner, but am struggling with the font, is it 'Mark O Hanlon 2011'?

Fantastic shot Mark. I am amazed the flower head floated so symmetrically in the water. I really like the change of focus between the flower and it's reflection. Simply artistic.

Hi Sandy and thank you very much for your comments on this one.
It was a tricky shot to take as I was dependant on the little bit of sunlight playing its part…which it did nicely.
Thanks Sandy
Mark
Hi Jon and thank you for your comments. On the name part of things I am in the process of changing this for my actual hand signature…which will probably be even worse to read…
Thanks Jon

Mark
Hi Bambe, your comments are very kind and I thank you for them…Nature was in control of the photo and gave me everything I needed to take the shot.
Thanks Bambe
Mark
Hi Shirley and thank you very much for you comments.
The stalk you see at the back was doing the balancing act for the head of the dandelion…keeping it upright the way you see…the softer focus is from the slight movement in the surface of the water…I may add I was also in the water to get so low an angle on this.
Thanks Shirley
