    Wonderful Wisley

Some florals from my recent trip to Wisley. There was a lot of rain about so things were a bit weighed down with water. Most were taken at F8 , 1/250, ISO 200 and -1.0 exposure bias.

Thanks for looking. All ccs appreciated.

Another wonderful series, Shirley. Can't pick a favorite!! The #3 looks like the one I posted a week or so ago (2 eggs, sunny side up). Do you know what this is called? Just love the way you captured this one!

    Re: Wonderful Wisley

Hi Marianne many thanks for your comments. I remember your thread but this was not the same flower. It grew an a very thick stem reaching over 5 foot tall but the flowers and buds were very much like poppies in formation & flowered all the way up the stem . They only seemed to be pale yellow or pink. Have no idea of the name as they are all given their botanical names!

Thanks Kaye. You would have been in your element. Just wish I had had longer & really needed to be on my own to take my time but could not keep patient friends waiting too long. Thanks for your comments.

Beautiful series, Shirley. Excellent detail and vivid colors in all, hard to pick a favorite out of the bunch.

Hi Shirley…what can I say, all are beautiful.
For me, I think I will go with the third shot, I like how the flower acts as its own diffuser in that one.
    Excellent work again Shirley

    Re: Wonderful Wisley

Hi Mark many thanks for your kind words. I really noticed the way the light shone through the petals in #3 showing off the rain drops on the outer side. Thanks Mark.

Hi Tenny many thanks. I always find flowers so rewarding to photograph.
