That's fantastic! Love the color, composition, and theme....not to mention the special effects. Good luck!

Thanks so much Sandy, this just came to mind not even thinking about special effects. I was really trying out the new cloud brush which I found through my Thread - My "Arty" transition" of a vintage rose in Arts with Mark (Kinetic)'s assistance, and probably like you, I kept experimenting.

Thank you photog.... but soon you will not be envious.
I am not sure if you are enrolled in the course, but if you are, I believe within a few weeks you will be producing beautiful images that you and others will be very proud of.
If you are not enrolled in the course, you will certainly learn lots from the forums with the comment/critique, and reading all the very informative posts.

My shot is just a simple Frangipani flower. I set up some foreground and background colours using paper/vinyl just from home, and then added some effects in Photoshop CS2.

How did you get the movement effect in the background or was that an "Action" in Photoshop?

Thanks for both of your comments photog.
No, this was not an action.
Originally the background was quite dark, so I was just experimenting in Photoshop with new brushes I had downloaded. So I added a few clouds and a couple of stars and thought it did not quite suit the pic, so I then went to "Filter, Blur, then Radial Blur.
I have experimented on Radial blur with other shots as well. I quite like it.
